Manchester United are ready to break all club records in order to sign Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli. Higuain has been in red hot form this season and leads the goal scoring charts in the Serie A. According to the Metro, Manchester United along with Bayern Munich and domestic rivals Chelsea are interested in signing the Argentine who who has a whopping 74 million Euros as his release clause.

Higuain who was at Real Madrid before moving to Napoli where he has already achieved legendary status with his goals is at a crucial juncture in his career where this summer might be the last chance he will have to move to a big club. His time at Real Madrid will be looked as  a failure and he has been underwhelming for his national team when called upon. With a plethora of attacking talents available for the Argentinian coach including Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Angel Di Maria, Higuain will never become a regular starter for this national team. So this summer, he has to carefully make a decision with regards to his next club as it might be the only chance for him to win some medals before he retires from football.
