According to the Spanish newspaper AS, Barcelona are planning to sign Arsenal superstar Mesut Ozil in the summer. This move is shocking because Ozil is an ex-Real Madrid player who has in fact starred in a clasico victory against Barcelona. With Ozil’s form and talent ,there is no doubt that he will fit in Barcelona’s squad especially as Andres Iniesta is getting older and will need replacing. Luis Enrique is expected to offer Sandro or Munir as part of the deal to convince Arsene Wenger to part with Ozil. The German midfielder on the other hand will relish the chance to team up with Messi, Suarez and Neymar.
Arsenal on the other hand are linked to Real midfielder Isco and this move if completed could set of a chain of moves which could see Ozil return to the La Liga and play for Barcelona. Zidane on the other hand does believe that Isco can be an integral part of his team next year especially as James Rodriguez is rumoured to be on the selling list with Manchester United to be the rumoured destination. A lot will of course depend on how the Euros play out with the risk of players getting injured,not many transfers will be completed before the tournament is completed.
