Manchester United’s manager Louis Van Gaal has confirmed that 4 players will miss out on the trip to Chelsea because of injury. The players are Marcos Rojo, Antonio Valencia, Luke Shaw and Bastian Schweinsteiger are all out of the trip to Chelsea. Meanwhile Phil Jones has recovered well and is close to a return after taking part in training along with rest of the squad.

After the win against Stoke, Van Gaal has been in bullish mood brushing aside all concerns about his job and insisting that his team is on the right track. Aside from the win against Stoke, United have been dire all season and are in serious danger of missing out on Champions League football next season. Although United boast a good defensive record in the league, their attack generally has been toothless and the less said about their style of play the better it is.

Reports from media around Europe indicate that Mourinho is almost 100% sure to take over from Van Gaal at the end of this season and many United fans will be glad if it happens. United have lost out on 3 years because of faulty managerial appointments and this time they do want to get it right.
