Arsenal can become serious title favorites if they manage to beat City in what is looking like a two horse battle at the top. Leicester are still at the top and are most likely to stay until new year but it remains to be seen on how long can they sustain this amazing form.

Alexis Sanchez is a big doubt and although we have included him in our lineup ,there have been reports that he may not be fit in time for the game. This will be a big blow for Wenger and Arsenal as Sanchez has been instrumental in Arsenal’s form this season. The way the Chilean ripped apart Manchester United in a 20 min spell along with Mesut Ozil was a treat. His pace and trickery could cause a lot of problems for the injury ravaged City defence. But if he doesn’t start we can either see Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain or Joel Campbell playing on the left.

Wenger’s recent big game tactics have been very effective as Arsenal look to sit back with two banks of four and five and then look to hit on the counter. This was exactly what happened against United as the red devils were foolish enough to fall into Arsenal’s trap. Arsenal have learnt how to play without the ball very effectively now and are a huge threat on the counter with the likes of Ozil,Giroud and Sanchez.
