Manchester United’s goalkeeper Victor Valdes is set to leave the club within the next 24 hours as Besiktas look to sign him up. Valdes fell out with Van Gaal after refusing to play for the reserves when asked to do so. According to the Spaniard,he had played at times for the reserves but refused to continue when asked repeatedly.

According to Mundo Deportivo Valdes has agreed to end his difficult tenure at United after agreeing to a new two year contract at Besiktas. It is expected that the goalkeeper will leave immediately to Turkey. Valdes will look to regain lost time and form as he wants to reclaim his national team spot before the Euros.

Having sorted out one goalkeeper’s future,Manchester United still are in a limbo wrt to David De Gea’s future. Although a deal involving Real Madrid is unlikely at the moment as the transfer window deadline looms, Van Gaal has refused to clear the air about his Goalkeeper. The situation is not helping any of the parties and De Gea is bound to leave the club for free in the summer with this type of treatment. Reportedly the Spaniard is unhappy at how Van Gaal has told the press that he,David De Gea has refused to play for United where as in reality he wants to play.
