Man Utd Expected starting 11 vs Chelsea-Rooney as midfielder?

Manchester United go into their toughest fixture of the season on the back of an impressive run of form. But injuries have made a huge blow to their chances against the runaway league leaders. Michael Carrick,Daley Blind,Marcus Rojo and Phil Jones are all expected to miss out along with Jonny Evans who is still serving his ban. With no holding midfielders available Van Gaal might be forced to play Wayne Rooney there which will open up the strikers’ spot for Falcao. This will be Falcao’s last chance to impress Van Gaal before his loan expires and he heads back to Monaco.

Angel Di Maria is still not expected to start as Ashley Young ‘s scorching form keeps the record signing firmly on the bench. Juan Mata will make a return to his former home on the right where he will seek to continue his good form and understanding with Ander Herrera and Antonio Valencia. United fans will be worried that David  De Gea hasn’t signed a new contract and there are rumours floating about that a deal with Madrid will be signed in the summer. He will be up against another world class young keeper in Thibaut Courtois and the goalkeepers might end up deciding the fate of the game.
